vista to windows 7 upgrade checklist?
im getting conflicting information from various sources on what i need to do before i upgrade. ive already backed up my owner file containing pics, docs, music, etc on an external hard drive. what else do i need to back up? do i need to turn off my antivirus like one source said? do i need to use the windows easy transfer? it brings me a list before install of things i need to uninstall. do i need to uninstall these or can i just leave it?
basically, what are all the things i need to do before i upgrade to windows 7

if you computer is older, the best thing to do is make sure you can get all the drivers, if you cant then you will most likely encounter some problems. an easy way of doing this is run it in a vm on the computer
