When a mortuary embalms dead people, what do they do with the blood?
I know they cut the main artery in the neck, shove a tube in and force embalming fluid into the body which forces the blood out. I was wondering what they do with the blood. I can't find anything on the Internet.

It just washes down the drain like any other waste. It is not treated in any way, it just goes down the drain.

they drink it.
they prob just put it into the drain.
Or bottle it up as medical waste, and ship it off to be dumped in the ocean off south jersey.
