What kind of ammo do you like to use when shooting a 9mm at the range?
Just got a S&W M&P 9, and looking for ammo. Looking for Remington rounds but they are scarce. Anybody have good experience with other brands?

whatever is least expensive... find someone reloading you trust and buy from them... lead tips and non brass are going to be least expensive,

I'm a personal reloaded, shooting with a Vector SP2 in 9mm Para. I like using my own rounds, I cast from lead my own bullets and then I reload. It is way cheaper and much more sustainable for long days at the range than buying new rounds. I currently have around a thousand cases, so I'm never out of ammo at the range!

I use a little larger caliber than the 9mm. You can disregard my input if you don't like it. But I'm a firm believer in finding a round you and your gun both like and sticking with it. I can notice a severe difference between different manufactures an projectile weights. I know it's cheaper to shoot the bulk stuff. I'm not rich either. But I want my weapons to be as close to 100% accurate at the range as I can allow them. It only makes sense that that 100% accuracy is going to quickly deteriorate in a stressful situation. Changing cartridges hinder that for me. I practice with the same rounds I carry for protection, every time.

If you reload you are going to want to use brass case ammo. I find the Winchester white box as good a price as any unless you want to buy a thousand rounds at a time from one of the wholesalers. Otherwise I will shoot Blazers which are aluminum alloy casings. I don't even try to pick them up after shooting.

WWW or Remington are fine for the range. I usually get them at Walmart. Cheapest place I have found.
Other than that- I shoot Georga Arms Ammo-

Their target ammo is a little more than Walmart, but their "premium defense/hunting ammo" is about as good as it gets- quality and price wise.

You name it, I shoot it.
My favorite is Monarch steel cased ammo or Blazer...it cheap, goes bang every times, and it's fairly accurate. I also use a lot of bulk Winchester White Box.
