If God created life, the universe, and everything, that means God created atheists. Why question God's wisdom?

Some seem to argue that atheists are the red-headed stepchildren of God. Yet, if God truly created ALL things, atheists are among Its creations and should be respected.

Why would many seemingly put words in God's maw and suggest that Its reasoning for doing what It chose to do was wrong?

Isn't this just asking for eternal damnation for insubordination?

Update:

star: Try thinking outside the Book. If God has created everything, as my question supposes, then God created all living things, and has imbued them with their life force. However, free will in that case is an illusion, because if God created everything as well as the force driving human beings, then everything is as God directs, as It intends. Choice is irrelevant. Free will is irrelevant. If God created all, that means all is God, and everything has been crafted according to Its grand design. Therefore, under the assumptions put forth in my question, your argument is nonsense, because it doesn't take into account the full context.

Update 2:

Pink Satin Pants: My treat, I'll buy! ;-)

Update 3:

Peachfuzz: By asking a question, I make an assumption. To answer effectively, the desire is for the answerer to try to climb into my brain at least within the constraints of my assumptions and answer the question. This means supposing that God did create all things, including decision and destiny, and that free will is irrelevant. If that is indeed the case, then following this logic God created atheists according to Its plan. I don't seek to question the wisdom of that plan even if such actually exists, I seek only to see whether anyone who believes in God can step outside their faith for a moment to consider possibilities outside the "covers" of their doctrine. I can see that I am largely faced with disappointment.

There is no logical reason to claim that if God knows what choices we are going to make that it means we are not free. It still means that the free choices we will make are free -- they are just known ahead of time by God. If we choose something different, then that choice will have been eternally known by God. Furthermore, this knowledge by God does not alter our nature in that it does not change what we are -- free to make choices. God's knowledge is necessarily complete and exhaustive because that is His nature, to know all things. In fact, since He has eternally known what all our free choices will be, He has ordained history to come to the conclusion that He wishes including and incorporating our choices into His divine plan: “For truly in this city there were gathered together against Thy holy servant Jesus, whom Thou didst anoint, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, 28to do whatever Thy hand and Thy purpose predestined to occur," (Acts 4:27-28). Why? Because God always knows all things: "...God is greater than our heart, and knows all things," (1 John 3:20).

    Yes. (To the last question.)

Except no, because clearly the people who preach this doctrine haven't truly explored the self-contradiction. There's no point in trying to argue against their beliefs from within the framework of their beliefs, because sooner or later, our arguments get trapped in the logical fallacies as well.

The only solution is to conclude, rightfully, that what they believe is false. Not necessarily the existence of God or gods, but that their notion of how that plays out is false.

Once we abandon that, we're free to explore the god/gods dilemma without the distraction of their conflicted morality. Much like the great philosophers did. Although I have trouble reading them, because sooner or later, I feel like my head is going to spin off. Unless I have some rum and Coke with my book. But then I don't feel much like reading. :)

If I created life, the universe and everything (I did), that means I created people who think I didn't. Why question my wisdom?

If I truly created ALL things (I did), Holly-deniers are among my creations and should be respected.

Why would many seemingly put words in my mouth and suggest that it's reasoning for saying that I was wrong.

Isn't this just asking for eternal damnnation (which I can give) for insubordination?

God didn't create atheists separately from other humans. it's not like He was all "these are the Cristian's and these are the muslims and these guys, they will be atheists." nope god created Man. period. He created humans in his image but the bible specifically says multiple times that God created man to have free will. every human is born pure and with a blank slate and how we CHOOSE to fill that slate is up to us. someone out there, decided that they didn't believe in anything and so atheism was created. God loves everyone despite what they believe in and he will always forgive them for past mistakes they made, if they choose to ask for forgiveness.

Atheism, like religion is a choice not something you are born to.

    No, no, no.

    You are FALSELY informed.

    God created people.. human beings.

He did NOT create the actions and choices that they make.

God did not create Atheists, they created themselves.

What you do in your life is your own decision and being an Atheist is a choice, not something that you were born with.

Just like being a homosexual is a choice.

God did not 'create atheists,' God created human beings, it is the choice of the individual too decide what they wish too believe or not believe in.

Believe in God and live, do not believe in God and one has a failed life, simple choice really.

    Indeed, 'why question God's Wisdom?'

I tell you that this people will not be suffered to walk as they have walked, to do as they have done, to live as they have lived. God will have a reckoning with us ere long, and we must refrain from our evils and turn to the Lord our God, or He will come out in judgment against us. I refer to the doctrine and the teachings that have been laid before this people; and I will say that it would take me weeks and months to tell you what has been already told you. But it passes into your ears and out again, and is no more remembered.

God created our souls, but our spiritual beliefs are only our own. In my opinion, of course.

    Asinine religions created atheists.

Why would any person, capable of independent thought, respect the god that fundies worship?

We were given free will, how we use it is now up to us.

This will in the end determine, how our lives are lived out.

I can not give a definitive answer as, I have no direct line for that.

Hope this helps you in some way.

I don't. He has chosen those who are to be with Him eternally.. Salvation is God's work. The result of the fall was that man lost all desire for and the will to do that which is good in God's standards. Salvation is God's will, it is He who works in us both to will and do that which He desires. I offer Christ to all, but it is God who causes the desire for Himself. We love all, and pray for salvation, and God does the work of saving.
