Anyone know where the Bible verse is that says that if a man is mean to his wife God doesn'r hear his prayers?

I know it's in 1 or 2 Peter. Hang on, I'll get the exact verse.

Edit: It's 1 Peter 3:7:

Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.

I know of no such verse. The only one that talks directly about not getting prayers answered is one that the proclaimed SUNday christians NEVER READ:

Prov. 28:9 If a person will not listen to the law (Torah) , even his prayer is an abomination.

And they wonder why their prayers never get answered.

No way hosea! If a man is mean to his wife that is very bad but listen- God forgives. SO if that man asked for forgiveness, God will forgive him. But just to make sure I'm going to check. God listens to all prayers.

I think this alludes to a place where Jesus tells his disciples that if you hate your brother , first go and make peace with him , then come and follow me.

Or, husbands, love your wives. This would make being mean kind of contradictory...

At the very least being mean to ones wife is bad carma.

God will always answer your prayers.
