    Hi,

Based on the spec's you provided so far, your mothreboard:

http://www.gigabyte-usa.com/Products/Motherboard/P... is a "Micro ATX" form factor, and as such I would watch very closely what nVidia video card you get, since you have a lot less room to play with then an "ATX" mobo. [So large monsters like GTX 295 is unlikely to fit or would fit with great difficutly.] Here is the one I would recommend, its a 9500 GT 1GB: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8... or something similar.

You can physically measure the amount of useable room you have inside your case over your PCI-E slot and check out the size spec's on the nVidia website. Here is a link to the 9500GT: http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_geforce_9500g... Also, make sure that your Power Supply is adequet (i.e. 350W minimum). So you don't run into issues later on, as you might add more components, such a sound card.

    Hope this helps.

info about computer specifications given is inadequate.

I think you have a Pentium 4 processor.

Also you have not given the Gigabyte mobo model number.

EDIT:the NVidia GeForce 9500 GT 512MB will be very suitable for your computer.

To find out whether your motherboard is capable of having a PCI-E x16 slot and whether it is capable of PCI-E 2.0 is crucial when buying video cards. You must provide more information such as what computer you have, what motherboard, what you intend to use it for. Right now we can not recommend you a video card. Please also provide a budget for us. You may e-mail me and i will assist you in anyway if you can provide information. I can answer for everybody else that doesn't want to say what im saying over and over. Please give me a thumbs-up :)

If you have any more questions or need more advice, please email me.

Go for the the GTX 295 if you can afford it, the specs are great and it can run practically any application, check the link below for more info

I have GeForce 8800 for my PC. Given your configurations, I'd go for 6800, 7700, or possibly 8800.
