Do own goals count towards a player's career goals scored?

    No they don't.

    And they don't count if you bet on that player to score first either. The first goal scorer bet rolls over to the next goal that isn't an OG.

    A goal is a goal! When a team is up by only 1 goal and the other team pulls their goalie to run more of a power play offense you can't just ice the puck. It can be a dangerous situation for the team in the lead as well. An empty net goal gets rid of that danger! Count Em!
