Syncing Sansa MP3 player with Itunes?

I've finally worked out how to sync my MP3 player primarily by giving up on Itunes and using Windows Media Player. I've also tried Allway Sync, which seems OK as well. The EXTREMELY frusterating part now, of course, is I can't get the music I bought off Itunes on to the stupid thing because the files are "locked."

So besides feeling shafted for paying for these files and not being able to use them without an Ipod (thank you, Apple) is there any way around this?

If I burn them to a CD, will I be able to re-upload them in to WMP?

The music you download from iTunes is drm protected. in order to play it on non-apple mp3/mp4 players, you need to remove the drm and convert the protected music to drm free mp3 format. the easiest way is to burn an audio cd in itunes and rip it back as mp3 format. Or you can get some software to help you.

I would recommend you check out this article which shows three methods to convert iTunes music to MP3:

You can play them on a computer. You can play burn them and play the discs. Just like every other digital file type. Had you gotten an iPod and were using WMP, you'd have the same problem.

And the word is import or rip, uploading is something different entirely. We're not always able to just guess what the asker is actually asking when the terminology means something else.

Yes, you can burn them and rip them to WMP with either a .MP3 or a .WMA default.

No, not if they are copyright protected, that is the one bad thing about itunes store purchases :(

But with 3rd party software converting the non protected(locked) songs may be possible, go check with the sales person at a place like Best Buy.
