Where do the semi colons and commas go in this sentence?

Maud the violinist Herbert the flutist and Grace the noted harpist were waiting for their instruments to arrive.

I think it's supposed to be like this:

Maud, the violinist; Herbert, the flutist; and Grace, the noted harpist were waiting for their instruments to arrive.

    I think its:

Maud the violinist, Herbert the flutist, and Grace the noted harpist were waitng for their instuments to arrive.

I don't think any semicolons go in there.
