Are houses a technology?

I'm doing a project, and i need to list 3 different types of technologies in Kyrgyszstan. I mentioned transportation & cell phones/internet...but I can't think of a 3rd, so I was wondering if housing would be considered a technology...Thanks!

Technically, houses are a technology, but housing is not a technology.

Housing is a social science term that refers to the number/amount of residences available to house your population, and one measure of interest is the price point of that housing relative to the earning capability of your population.

Houses integrate many component technologies -- architecture, materials science, solid and fluid mechanics, electrical engineering, and the like. Housing construction (not housing) is the field that embodies this melange of technologies.

Yeah, it's semantic, but that's what most of schoolwork is anyway. (semantics often dominates application.)
