What do you think of this song (first original, no lyrics yet)?

I'm going to be completely honest with you here. That was pretty good for one of your first attempts and it's really actually a decent song. However if you want to be good your going to have to do something else because that folk rock suspended augmented whatever (I don't really know allot of theory, I'm just guessing) **** is way over done and there are about every guitar player that has ever existed that has wrote a song basically or completely identical to that. Plus it's going to make people think you're some no good rotten hippie. Keep it up but if you truly want to be a writer and be good at it you need to learn classical and metal music. Even if you just learn a few techniques like harmonics and how to pick really fast and some common scales in common keys it will help allot.
