Who is going to pay for college? You can make it only if you have a decent job and maybe a driver's license. In the meantime, just behave yourself and try to get along with your parents. Use some of your energy on school and other useful activities.

You are in a bit of a spot. No nest egg, no income, no transportation and no employment or employment history. How about this. Stay in state for 2 years, get a job, part time is fine and save every possible penny. Get 2 years of your core subjects under your belt and maybe an AA in something insignificant. Underwater basket weaving would do. When you near the end of those 2 years reassess your situation. Out of state would then be doable by renting a 3 or 4 bedroom house and having roommates to help with the rent. It splits the cost of groceries and all other costs. Two can't live as cheaply as one but when you get to three or four the per unit costs start to drop. Another way to go, not necessarily recommending this but just bringing up the subject, is to join the military. They do things like matching funds for education, they teach you a trade, pay you, house you and even provide some of your clothing. It isn't for everyone and if you don't have a patriotic basis for doing it you will hate the work. I'm a retired Master Sergeant so I could and will discuss this with you if you like. I'm available at my profile.

I suggest you speak to a military recruiter. You will have a job, food, a place to live and money for college. Plus it will give you 4 years job experience to put down.
The air force is really good, as is the coast guard. The army/marines are both great for the right type of person, however if you aren't that type, I don't think you should go there. Navy is good as well, though you spend a lot of time on ship, so that can be difficult for some people.
You know yourself, decide what is important to you and then speak to a branch that more matches your goals.

yeah, not only can the military give a job, a place to live, food, but they offer unparalleled training opportunities and benefits like counselling to help out with depression. just don't say that you're depressed when you enter. wait til after you graduate from the intitial training, then you can go to couselling. oh yeah, and you'd have job security. i went to the Marine Corps 4 days after i graduated hs and have been out for a little while--it's tough getting a job even with military experience! I think about going back or getting into law enforcement.

Here's what i'm doin...
after highschool, i'm going to the Marines
I'll have a salary
I'll have a place to live
I'll have crazy life insurance for me and whatever spouse and kids i may have in the future FOR LIFE.
I'll be fit as a.....well.... a Marine...
I'll be a member of the Finest Fighting Force in the World!!
I'll belong to a community that cares for me ....some correctly call that community a brotherhood! the worlds greatest Fraternity! !
When i'm done with my active tour, they will pay 100% for my college tuition (or at least a crazy percent of it...)
there are tons of other bonuses i forget...
Now that you know my plan, i'll give you some advise:
Get off your computer and go see your local USMC recruiter NOW!!!

When there's a will. There's a way. I think you could do it if you set yourself up to be successful!
