Why do so many beautiful/pretty girls think they're ugly or average?
I see a lot of beautiful ladies who have so much self-doubt and even self-loathing because they don't know how beautiful they are. It is sometimes heart-breaking for me to hear their stories, and I just want to tell them how beautiful they are, how much potential they have, that they can make such a wonderful difference in the world and in the hearts and lives of the people around them. *sigh
I wish it were different. I wish all people could be raised with a wonderful level of acceptance, patience, positive encouragement, gentleness. . .
I wasn't. And I also had to deal with a lot of mean people along the way: middle school was the worst, and I know that kids are still allowed to emotionally torture each other, oftentimes while suffering from a lack of compassion and acceptance at home.
I will often give compliments here in my free time and it always makes me feel really good when my answer is picked as best or when I get a response saying that what I said made a difference. I am a fan of pretty and beautiful young women. I am a fan of beauty in nature. I am a fan of living and promoting a physically and emotionally healthy lifestyle. :)
3 AnswersOther - Beauty & Style8 years agoIsn't it interesting that WEDDINGS often lead to divorce, not the actual marriage?
just throwing ideas out there.
But yeah, I noticed while I was working in the divorce industry--excuse me, FAMILY LAW. . .
I noticed that WEDDINGS often lead to divorce. More so than the actual marriages. And the wedding is the starting point of financial mismanagement. . .
About 99 percent of my 1100 divorce cases stemmed from financial problems, then built on that one thing. Money problems lead to arguments, alcohol/drug abuse and/or gambling and other addictions (porn), domestic violence, and cheating. And usually in that order, give or take a step or two. Cheating seemed to happen usually only after one or both were VERY unhappy in the relationship.
I'm 27. Did the divorce cases at age 23. Had my own type of "divorce" after living with first gf for a whole year :'( o well, live and learn
1 AnswerMarriage & Divorce9 years agoWhich age range is best to marry?
I worked in family law when I was 23 only working with divorce cases and saw that about 90 percent or more (out of 1100 cases) of the divorces stemmed from marriages of ppl under age 25. Some were from marriages in their 30s and very few from marriages that started in their 40s. It seems that the older people are when they marry, the less likely they are to divorce, with a sharp decrease in the divorce rate of marriages that start after age 25 or in the 30s.
I look to married/divorced people for insight on this subject. Currently 27. Also, I wonder about the age combinations. It seems most people will marry people their own age, give or take a few years, where the man is almost always the older of the two. 0-5 years diff seems most common. With a higher percentage of divorce for an age diff of 0-2 years.
I had a great love relation when I was 19-22 and she was 2 years younger than me, but I was not emotionally mature/stable enough to keep her :'(
Live and learn. I've had some fun in the past few years, but I'd really like to position myself to a successful, happy, healthy long-term (life) love-relation.
Pretty much 99 percent of the divorce cases I worked with were due to financial disagreements, stress, arguments, mismanagement, and cheating as a subsequent result for unhappiness in the relationship.
*sigh. I really would like to set myself up for success. Happy life, stable career, etc. But I'm kinda too adventurous for "stable". Forner US Marine, then a wanderer for 5 years, then deans list college student for 2 years. . . Boring, now doing truck driving--love it. And consider returning to military life but in the French Foreign Legion . . .if I do that, I probably won't marry til I'm 50. Haha. If I live that long. Then if I want to have a kid or two, my wife would have to be 25-40s. Since I've been 24, I've preferred women 25+. (25-53)

My friend said I have better, but I like this one I just made:
Alien-craft-cranium level, like a tazmanian devil, I bite through bone when I'm in my zone: mexico to canada, I have the stamina to drive coast to coast on a regular, my thought journey's galactic to molecular, religious to the secular, yes! I will bet you sir and ma'am! my hand-to-hand combat is honest, so don't be astonished when much bigger dudes are demolished, did he really do that? oh yes! I did! and then I jest and kid myself to sleep-laughing, even in my dreams I'm passing light-speed, a lot of brains might need expansion to keep up, even polar bears fleece-up cuz I'm too chillerific times twice the Pacific, spit specifics to Generals, they obey Intelligence while sellin its opposite so profits get prominent, I'm in it too deep to speak more, escape to the sea-floor so I can see more, the core of consciousness shows the ominous to be full of empty threats not promises. 2 AnswersRap and Hip-Hop9 years agoSo what's not logical in religion is called "miracles"?
So if I make claims that defy a basic understanding of REALITY, I could be a good candidate for mental health treatment, but with religion, these logical infallacies are MIRACLES!?!
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoWhat's logical about being born without conception?
What is logical about a person being born without any conception taking place, turning water into wine, walking on water, and coming back from the dead?
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoWhy don't christians value logic?
Why don't christians value logic, or the rules of biology or physics as their supposed God has set forth? Why believe in fairy tales in the Bible based on older legends accepted as myth?
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoWhy do christians often claim HUMAN values that pervade all cultures as "christian values"?
Not only all culture, but ALL cultures throughout human history. Values such as respecting human dignity, patience and kindness towards loved ones, etc. When did christians all of a sudden gain a monopoly on human values?
I have found most non-christians to be just as kind, generous and forgiving than christians. Also, I find that being TOLERANT and accepting doesn't really come as a christian or non-christian trait, just a trait of a mature individual.
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoExcuse my english, which is a better way to expatriate to France?
One way I consider becoming a French citizen is joining the French Foreign Legion, and serving for 20 years if I live through each tour.
The other way I am considering is to possibly gain employment as a truck driver.
I am currently a truck driver in the united states (booooo). Haha
And I have already served in an elite military organization. (US Marine Corps) and I would really like to return to the military lifestyle, just not in or for the u.s. . .
The more I read and learn about France, the more I'd like to live there and find out for myself that it is a wonderful country with people that have more values that match mine than here in the u.s.
I read that the French are the least fat people of Western Europe, that France has had a great economy--in the past, and even though it's not doing so well right now, like everyone else, I believe France will do well in the future--better than the u.s. I hear that the French education system and healthcare system is better, and even that French mothers are better at child-rearing than americans and british. Haha. It wouldn't surprise me if all this is verifiably true. Every person I have met from France has been a great acquaintance, but I haven't met that many :(
By the summer of 2013, I'd like to be in France. :)
All repondres will be appreciated. Merci ;)

2 AnswersArts et sciences humaines - Divers9 years agoExcuse my english, French women, do you find me attractive?
As a red-skinned man in america, I have experienced being not very preferred amongst white american women, however, I tend to attract European women and women from other countries more naturally.
Since earlier this year, I have been learning different things about France and the more I learn and hear about France and the French people, the more I think: France is for me. :) better education system, better healthcare, usually a good economy--like everyone else, not so good right now, but I believe France will do better in the near and far future.
The French are the least fat people of Western Europe, and I have even read an article that says French mothers are better at child-rearing than americans and brits! It wouldn't surprise me if it were true!

5 AnswersImmigration9 years agoExcuse my english, I would like to join FFL to become a citizen of France, please advise?
I am now 27 and have served in an elite military organization in the united states. I would like to return to the military lifestyle but not for the U.S. I think it will be better for me expatriate to France, since the more I read and learn about French culture, society, government and politics, it seems like the right thing to do. The more I know about France, the more I want to join. I will very soon pick up a language program to learn French. Oh yeah, I only heard about the French Foreign Legion about a month ago from another american who had served for 22 years. I verified everything he said through online research. He was telling the truth.
The only thing I have yet to verify is his claim that the French people show a good level of respect for the men of FFL. Thank you. :)
Also, can u tell me how to say "thank you" in French?
