Is It Possible To House 2 Russian Dwarf Hamster Of Different Ages Together?

Are we talking about two females or a male/female pair?

I've had several rejected or widowed males of different ages that I put together and they got along just fine, but often it doesn't work out. Dwarfs bond strongly and can get very tempermental after losing a mate, so I would leave him alone unless he shows signs of depression (gaining weight, diarrhea, aggression, etc). But, sadly, it's common for a dwarf to die if their mate dies and to reject any new hamster.

If it's a female, it tends to be easier to introduce a new one. If it's male, I'd give it a 25% chance at best. If you choose to introduce a new potential mate, watch them very, very closely for the first week and make sure they aren't hurting each other. If they start biting each other, they may end up killing themselves.

im not sure u should do that. Hamsters are very Territorial and don't like anyone in there space especially a new commer! There is a chance they might fight and maybe kill each other so i don't think u should do that. Sorry to hear about ur hamster :(
