can you test positive for cocaine when taking hydrocodone?

If you are using a standard drug screen, you will not test positive for opiates. The standard drug tests that employers use, and those at home ones, they can only detect morphine, codeine, and 6-acetyl morphine, which is what heroin breaks down into. Since hydrocodone doesn't break down into any of these (it breaks down into hydromorphone) the test will not come up positive for opiates. There is a specific test to detect hydrocodone though, that would be on a more extensive test, like a 10 panel, as opposed to the standard 5 panel test. And no cocaine will absolutely not cause a positive for opiates.

No, hydrocodone is basically an opiate, it shows up as an opiate on drug tests. Cocaine is a different kind of drug.
