he changed his number last year lol....way before ariza signed with the team....though i dont remember why

I don't think he gave his number up.
Like the dude above me said, he changed it to 3 to bring attention to his “Darfur Dream Team” humanitarian project and a “3 Points” documentary.
It chronicles his journey to the refugee camps in Chad, Africa.
