Zero laptop battery life?

So I bought an HP Pavilion dv6000 two years ago, give or take a couple months. It worked fine, still does pretty well, except for the battery. It has no juice at all. Even carrying it from my bedroom downstairs to the living room it goes into hibernation. I leave it plugged in all night, but in the morning it only reads 38% ! What is going on? What do I do?

Sounds like you need a new battery or possibly a battery charger.

Buy a new battery, they die and need to be replaced. I had to buy a new battery for my HP after only 1 year.

Replace it. Batteries wear out. It's a shame but they don't have a long lifetime.
