How many know what religion their neighbors are?

In Australia hardly anyone would know or care but I get the impression it is more widely discussed everywhere else. Is this true?

Which religion is it that plays loud music til 3am, urinates off the balcony and ****s their girlfriend in the stairwell?

I'm in a townhouse apartment where the other units in the building have had a lot of turnover, as far as moveouts. I stay busy, and all of my close friends live in other neighborhoods (not nearby me.) From what I can see, none of my immediate neighbors believes in God, except for me. They are all still asleep when I leave for church early Sunday morning. They have rowdy friends who make noise at all hours of the night, and leave beer bottles around. They hear me playing Contemporary Christian music through my open windows, just like I hear some of them playing Gangsta Rap. They know that I don't use drugs or party with them. Usually we just pass each other in the parking lot, smile, and say "Hi", and that's it.

I know the religion of a few people who live on my street. That is only because their church is around the corner and I occasionally see them going to and from the building on Sundays. I have no idea of the other neighbors religions.

I know what a lot of my neighbors are because of the religious emblems on their cars, bumper stickers, or just talking to them. It's a matter of casual mention in my case, rather than a big serious discussion, though. I.E., "We went to eat at such and such place after mass last Sunday" or whatever. A couple of my nieghbors have asked about the mezuzah on my doorway, so some know I'm Jewish. Just casual conversation, for the most part.

Out of my three neighbors I know none of their religious preferences and could not care less to know. I don't make friends based on things like their religion, political views, race, etc.

No. I don't even talk to my neighbors. I do go to church on Sundays and Wednesdays and I must say my car is the only one that is gone at that time of morning. If that says anything.

I can care less. A lot of my neighbors know that I am atheist by my evolved fish symbol on my car.

The guy who lives on one side of me is a satanist because I went to school with him and he discussed his beliefs constantly. The family that lives on the other side of me are catholics because they have the lady of guadelupe plastered everywhere.

Yeah, you're right - I'm in Oz but the only reason I know one of my neighbours is a Christian (don't ask me what denomination) is because she turned up on out doorstep and invited us to go to church ...

I basically do... Everyone here attends the same Catholic Church, occasionally at different times.
