how would you store sodium hydroxide and bleech in a lab?

just for saftey? and would you store them together? are they incompatiable? thanks

    They are quite compatible they make water, well and heat. If you want to keep them like they are they are it would be best if they do not come in contact.

    Sodium hydroxide should be stored in an air tight jar, preferably made of polyethylene or polypropylene but glass can be used or steel but not tin lined.

    Bleach can be different things like :

    (a) sodium hypochlorite solution

    (b) hydrogen peroxide solution

    (c) sodium percarbonate powder.

    all should be stored in clean plastic bottles with vented caps to prevent pressure build up and be kept somewhere cool & out of direct light .
