Will Obama Sign Away U.S. Sovereignty?
This upcoming December, Obama is scheduled to sign a treaty on climate change in Copenhagen.
The draft Treaty of Copenhagen, to be signed in mid-December 2009, would create an unelected world government with direct power over all financial and trading markets, and direct power to intervene over the heads of elected governments in the economic and environmental affairs of all nations that sign the Treaty. The word "government" actually appears in the Treaty as the first of three purposes of a huge, new, supranational bureaucratic entity that will have the power to require wealthier nations to redistribute up to 2% of their annual gross domestic product to third-world countries in imagined reparation for imaginary "climate debt" - and all this just as final scientific proof that CO2 has a tiny and harmless warming effect is available.
If you are concerned about US Sovereignty go to the web sites below.
Please read and sign the Instrument of Repudiation, and urge at least five of your friends to sign it too, and urge each of them to find five more to sign it. The Instrument will be tabled during the Copenhagen Conference this December. So sign now, and save America's freedom, democracy, and prosperity.

The so called New World was first made Public by Bush Sr and it has always been about BIG Money . If Obama sells the US out too then there will be less economic help for us in the near future . and a dismal Future it will be Third world countries still have slave labor which includes children in a very horrible way and in terrible work conditions . That is why and one of the reasons the so called New World Order Is so evil. I apologize I do not know exactly what British Lord mentioned that warning to the US. But I am here to find out

Last week Obama said he will not sign it, but will be in Copenhagen in December to accept his Nobel. He also said he will address the Conference while he is there. I have my doubts. It will be interesting to see if he is being truthful and I really want to hear his speech and how many times he makes it about him. Here is the problem with email petitions. The Government just deletes email petitions. First they do not comply with any State or Federal petition laws. In order for a petition to carry any weight it must be a paper petition with the signers name, address and signature. The signature must be able to be verified by the registrar of voters and the voting status of the signer must be able to be verified. Neither can be done on email petitions. This is why you will see on the news every so often boxes of petitions delivered to Congress or your state capitol. Who has not been approached in a mall parking lot or grocery store lot to sign a petition. That is why recall and referendum petitions must be paper. Although the intention is good with email petitions the results are nil.

Dirty Sanchez! I'm with you! 100%!! This Government AND others before it, have broken many a Public Trust!! When are they going to stop violating our Constitution? We really don't know WHO we are in debt to! Is Obama using PROJECTED MONIES to pay these bail outs and stimulus packages? OR actual cash in it's coffers? What about our gold reserve? How much of that is left? The Government can print as much paper money as they want, but it has no value to the outside world. Has Obama been negotiating with foreign entities and literally SOLD OUT our country?? They can appropriate land, but they can't appropriate us! I think the People got their first warning signs as to the Governments agenda when, during these town hall meetings, supposedly, for people to gather and discuss the situation, when we opened our mouths in disagreement, we were TOLD we were being UN AMERICAN!! And the Tea Parties!!! We were INFORMED THOSE people were NOT part of normal society, and were called, Trouble makers and thugs!!!! I saw a lot of children amongst the crowds! Were THEY Too THUGS?? Are they going to be labeled juvenile delinquents? This climate change treaty, are we going to have to pay for that too? We can't just keep on paying with nothing to back it up with.

Why would he want to keep the US a sovereign nation. Think of how many free nations there have been the the history of civilization compared to enslaved nations. There's always someone out there to take you money, freedom, and happiness from you and America is too busy watching American Idol to stop them. You don't just "get" freedom and that's it, you have to fight to preserve it.

yeah cause the senate is filled with such good, honest people who always put 'the people' before anything else... Why do moronic Dems think they are so much smarter then everyone else yet they are to ignorant to notice their rights and freedoms being stripped from them every day. It's sad how righteous they think they are. PLUS the moon has no atmosphere so your a tool

only if you go away and never grace us with you witty insight to how you think that your idea of the world is right and everyone else is wrong. If you have something to argue (although it too will probably be ignorant and "witty") then feel free to share otherwise, why dont you go stalk Obama or at least shut your trap.

yeah, cause it's impossible to do something about global warming without signing an international treaty, which is about wealth distribution more that global warming, which you can't back out of unless all the other members agree. And since the US creates the most CO2, they will be the biggest contributor. Have fun convincing all those 3rd world countries that are getting the money from the CO2 taxes that they should agree to let you leave.
If your government really wanted to stop CO2 production, you'd think they would invest more in clean energy. But no... you're right. Taking your money and giving it to an international agency that could care less about you, your quality of living, or your country is the best way to help the environment... really how dumb are you people?
P.S. not a conservative (at least not neo-con)

Will he sign it,undoubtedly , will the Senate ratify it absolutely not, it requires 2/3 Senate approval to become a binding treaty, and even then my people can tell you it won't hold water! Our treaties never have, however, it is a blatant attempt to surrender our sovereignty to other countries!!

It is already in the making with the government take over of the auto and banking industry, trying to take over health care (and making us third-world in the process).
He is knocking the concept of america down piece by piece, this has been the far left plan for decades.
first, 'dumb down' generations of Americans so they have no clue of what the founding of their country is about, and what we stand for.
Then hang that the-government-will-take-care-of-it-all carrot.
Concerned Americans will try to revolt, possibly with an armed uprising, which will then start the door to door search and seizure of private gun ownership (probably with U.N. help of banning small arms in all countries, they have been trying to disarm American citizens for years).

But there already is a country which thinks it runs the entire world, and feels entitled to ignore the will of people in other countries.

He already did on the financial front at the G20, and it's fair to say yes he will.
As for the people who are willing to take the chance--tough. The rest of us aren't. Get out of the way.

Well if he and the congress sign it they can kiss their jobs goodbye.
They all took an OATH of office and must maintain the "public trust" mass removal from office will be justified if they do this.
Source(s): Really though what can they do if the American people say no what can they do send in UN troops to make us do it not gonna happen. WE run this country not Obama or any other politician its ours not theirs.
