Are the concepts shown in the movie Constantine origin?
Are the concepts shown in the movie Constantine (starring Keaneu Reeves) original? Specifically I am speaking of his claim that water is the path to both heaven and hell, the use of the tubs/cat to transport to the locations, and locking demons in mirrors, etc.
Are these based upon myth, folklore, readings, other writings, or are they originally based upon the Constantine world?

That movie is fictitious...they may have got those ideas from folklore...but idk
