Do you shake your boyfriends' parents hands when you first meet them?

I would say shake hands, maybe even hug the mom...depending on how she is...if she is strict shake hands. If she is sweet and open I would give her a hug.

I have always shaken hands whenever I first meet anyone. :) Just seems to be the right thing to do. hope this helps.

No you overwhelm them with hugs and kisses. Make them uncomfortable.
