When I say the WTC steel should've been investigated, I'm denounced as a conspiracy theorist. Explain?
What about wanting there to have been an independent, thorough investigation of the WTC collapses automatically makes me a conspiracy theorist? I wanted something to happen and it didn't happen, and the fact that it didn't happen was illegal. Where is the conspiracy in that? Where is the theory?
If the steel HAD been formally and independently investigated, wouldn't there then be solid public evidence to refute those crazy whackjob controlled-demolition conspiracy theories?
That's what I wanted. Proof that the buildings failed the way it was originally suggested to us. Public record evidence that those conspiracy theories are, irrefutably, whackjob and loony.
Where is the conspiracy in that? That's the only legal way to go about it.
Why are people so angry that I demanded an investigation of our generation's most serious and devastating crime?

Because there was an investigation, and the conspiracy theorists are the ones who keep wanting more, because the results of the investigation failed to fuel their paranoid fantasies.

The people from Popular Mechanic did just that in their March issue in 2003.
The steel did not fail the first test before it was put into the buildings but after the planes and the fuel started the fire the steel lost its integrity.
This caused the buildings to fall.
The History Channel, The Learning Channel and the Discovery Channel have shown time and again their own studies many times.
Why do you still seem to believe that it was done by some one else or some one who is in the government?

What's wrong with being a conspiracy theorist anyway?
There are actually conspiracies that have happened and that continue to happen (think of Watergate, Enron, Columbine, Bernie Madoff, even the widely held view of how 911 happened was a conspiracy that would have been thought far fetched before it actually happened). Conspiracy theorists serve an important function: to look at events from many angles, to leave no stone unturned.

The steel came off the mill with a lot number. The specimens are tested to ensure that they fall within AMS specifications. Had the batch failed from the mill, the stock would've been rejected and never used on the WTC.

So, just because you didn't get something that you wanted...it is illegal?
If people want to believe that it was a conspiracy, then let them. Eventually, they will get back on their meds or put back into that padded room.

to suggest that this was investigated and glaring questions answered satisfactorily - just pisses me off.
theres enough conspiracy fact to look at, if you ask me. it all stinks to high heaven.
