I buy all of my sunglasses on www.eyeglasses.com, and they will always carry authentic polarized lenses.

When I first purchased sunglasses I went to this cheap website and they were disgusting, but I was really happy with eyeglasses.com

If you're trying them on in a store, look at something shiny with glare to it and then look at it with the glasses on. The glare should be greatly reduced or eliminated if the lenses are polarized. If you already own the glasses, then test them outside in sunlight by looking at the glare on a chrome car bumper from a distance.

Polarized lenses are quite common now so I wouldn't be leery about ordering them on line if it was clearly stated that the lenses are polarized. Good luck!! : P.
