The three kings are a reference three stars in the sky, otherwise known as Orion's belt. christian fairy tales gave these stars human counter parts (anthropomorphism) and made them characters in the fiary tale story of jesus.

I might not correctly understand your question so be patient with me.

The three kings you refer to I am assuming are the ones that went to see Jesus, If that is so here is my answer.

When you read the account in Matthew 2:1-9 you will stumble upon a few things you might not have noticed.

FIRST of all, the bible does not tell us that there were "three" persons

SECOND, it never does say that these persons were "kings"

THIRD,In the scriptures (depending what translation or version you use) calls these men " wise men, Magi, ( magicians ) Astrologers"

They were men that read the stars, something that God does not allow

    ( Deuteronomy 18:10-13, Revelation 22:14,15 )

Did you notice in theses verses how Jesus was already a child living in a house? The whole nativity scene is not correct. Only the shepherds from the fields were present when Jesus was born. ( Luke 2:8-14 ) Herod killed all the infants 2 years or younger. Some time had already passed between Jesus being born in a manger and when these so called wise men came into the picture. We don't know how long a time but we can figure that they were not in the barn anymore right?

    The star is another myth

As the Bible record shows, those astrologers were not at first directed by the star to Jesus in Bethlehem but to murderous King Herod in Jerusalem. Now, if God had used the star to guide the astrologers, would he have directed them first to Jerusalem so that they would come in contact with that dangerous king? Obviously not!

When the star finally led the astrologers to Jesus, God stepped in and warned those men in a dream not to go back to Herod. God thereby saved the life of Jesus. How do we know? Because when Herod learned that the astrologers had fled without reporting to him, he sought to kill Jesus. But by then God had provided for Jesus’ escape. So that star was actually a scheme of Satan the Devil to have Jesus killed!

I hope this makes sense to you and i also sincerely hope you do your own investigating. The bible is full of wonderful truth, you can trust it. What you can't trust is false religion ( their leaders) to twist and teach doctrines of men and traditions that have no place with God. The truth is unpopular no one wants to hear it Too much power in religion etc..

what I am trying to tell you Study your bible . I did with the help of Jehovah's Witnesses and I am glad I did. Take care

    There were three of them.

    They walked across a desert.

Seems to me such people have few, if any, weaknesses.
