Has anyone ever dealt with First Bank of Delaware installment loan service?

I sent all my information but now they want a copy of my DL and SSC to further verify my information...

First Bank of Delaware is notorious for subprime lending.

They are a reputable bank. In that they have been around for awhile and are definitely not a pure scam.

That being said. Read the fine print. Many of the credit options they offer have extremely high up front fees, annual fees, and a variety of other fees.

If you need the money for a serious need(gas bill, rent, basic necessities) I'd suggest contacting the local non-profits first(Salvation Army, your local store actually, United Way. The utility companies will get you in touch with non-profits to help as well)

If you're borrowing the money for something non-necessary. Think twice, you may end up paying more than you think for this loan.

With identify theft and fraud so rampant, I would be concerned if they DIDN'T ask for more verification. I could be stuck to going through all kinds of garbage to prove that I didn't take out the loan. If you trust the bank, then it's probably okay. But do your homework.

The company has been around since 1999.

No real complaints listed on complaints.com

I tried to open a chase credit card last week - they sent me a letter requesting the same stuff. And I have good credit.

I think it's happening to everyone.

    Just mail in the stuff.
