How does one go about the eviction process as a server in california?
As a server, I was wondering how i would go about serving an eviction notice? Just say i'm receiving work from a lawyer. I get the paperwork/lease/info. I would first go to my local civil court and file a complaint? right? then wait a few days, or can i go serve the eviction notices right away? after serving the eviction notice, what do i do next? file a proof of service? and return the lease/info/ to the lawyer? what is the average price to go file paper work at the courthouse and serve the complaint.

You won't have anything to serve unless you first file your case. Then you must have somebody who is not a party to the case serve the papers.
