Can you please give your thoughts on the following Sinclair Lewis quote?

“When facism comes to America it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross."

Agree? Disagree? Will it happen? etc. Thanks all!

    I agree. What could deceive a nation better than one wrapped in our flag and carrying our Christian cross? Patriotism and Christianity explains a great deal about America and

    I find that rather insulting to some of our Christian war veterans who served in WWII. They, like the other Allied soldiers, played a role in bringing down Hitler and Mussolini.

    Sinclair Lewis, like most humans, was highly opinionated as far as Christianity is concerned.
