My eRecovery doesn't work on my AspireOne netbook. Help?
My computer just recovered from a virus, but it's still a bit crash-prone and error-ridden, so I want to reboot it to factory settings. Acer has a program - Acer eRecovery - that is supposed to allow me to do that. Whenever I try that, I get the following error message:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.
************** Exception Text **************
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80070422): The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.

at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.OnTick(EventArgs e)
at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr idEvent, IntPtr dwTime)
This is followed by a bunch more lines of information that I can't make anything out of. Before anyone tries to answer with these, I've already tried F10, and I don't have a recovery CD because the AspireOne is a netbook and has no CD drive.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks! :)

got this from Acer Pan Am Support Site
Select models have the ability to have the operating system reinstalled from a hidden drive built into the netbook. To start the Acer eRecovery:
Tap the Alt and F10 keys togther during Power-On Self-Test (POST while the Acer logo is being displayed).
When prompted with a boot screen, hit the Enter key.
After the Acer eRecovery program has loaded follow the prompts to reinstall the operating system.
If the ability to reinstall from the previous method is not available or fails during the recovery, recovery of the operating system will need to be from Acer Recovery Media. In order to recover the system using Acer Recovery Media an external optical disc drive is required.
Press F2 to enter BIOS Setup during Power-On Self-Test (POST while the Acer logo is being displayed).
Arrow over to "Boot".
Ensure that the external optical drive is plugged into a USB port.
Refer to on screen instructions to set the first device to "USB CDROM".
Press the CD-ROM drive eject button and insert the System CD.
Close the CD-ROM tray.
Press "F10", then press "Enter" to save the changes and reboot the system.
The netbook will boot from the Acer Recovery Media, follow the prompts to reinstall the operating system.
Note: If you do not have a set of Acer Recovery Media they may be purchased at the online recovery CD order form.
