A question regarding suffixes in Spanish?
How would you conjugate (is that the right word for this situation?) the -or ending like doctor , conductor, and traductor for the female form? Would you just add an 'a' to the ending like trabajador and trabajadora?
Thanks for the answers. And communism is good on paper, but has it's flaws when actually applied to a real government.

Doctora, conductora, and traductora are correctly in the feminine form with the "a" behind it. But there are exceptions, for example, the word "actress". In masculine, it is "actor", and in feminine, it is "actriz".

Yes, you add an a to change a masculine noun to a feminine noun. But sometimes you can't just change the word and add/replace. Some are permanent. Like: Comida (food) you can't make that masculine, it's permanently feminine.

Yes, that is exactly what you do. For conductor, you say conductor and with the a conductora as a female conductor.
