It was devastating, humiliating and downright disgusting. No one should have to go through with this kind of treatment from another human being. This, I found out, exists even today in many homes where abuse is tolerated as though it is normal. Since having seen the movie, many folk that I have spoken to have said that this has happened in their homes as well. Race, gender, cultural differences, have not saved any of these people from this 'horror story' that occurs daily in many people's lives. Peace!
