Chiropractors.......?
I had hip surgery about 3 months ago for a nondisplaced femoral neck hip fracture. They inserted two pins and a rod in my hip. My hip feels like it needs to be adjusted. I used to get routine adjustments before my injury. Am I risking anything by getting an adjustment?

You need to consult your doctor first.

I am all for Chiropractors, but that soon after hip surgery may be too risky. Check with your hip surgeon, maybe something has moved. S/he may want an x-ray or can advise you if there is any danger of displacement.

Don't let anyone who is not an orthopedic surgeon touch your spine while still recovering from surgery. Those pins and the rod might get displaced when manipulated by a chiro who doesn't know what he's doing.

Personaly, I believe if you learrn hatha yoga, and practice very slowly, all will come to alignment.
But slowly, very slowly.
Look at the bottom of your shoes, and see the wear pattern on the bottom of them, this will show how aligned your hips are.

your DC will not touch your hip repair job. pain is most likely sacroiliac joint which he/she can take care of for you

If you are going to a credible chiropractic, then his aim is not to injure, but to help. He should be confident of that. Ask him. If he hesitates....
