Brett Favre has no coaching qualifications. The Packers might be in transition this year having let both Charles Woodson and Greg Jennings go. Although winning Super Bowls is great, a team like the Packers counts success as making the post season each year. Firing Mike McCarthy doesn't solve anything.

The Packers will fire him after the season imo, because they won't make the playoffs and they gave a 0-7 team their first win today.

Because people are lined up for the next 30 years to buy season tickets, they buy merchandise with the Packer logo, and they'll rent the stadium atrium for social events. Why should the Packers care what kind of crap they put on the field as long as people keep spending money on them? Welcome back to the '70s.

If changes are not made at season's end the fans will make sure the Packers office hears it.

Well, in my opinion it will be quite some time before they fire McCarthy, simply because by doing that, it's like they are admitting it was the wrong idea to trade Brett Favre... and they simply will never do that.

he will be gone at the end of the season if the Packers don't make playoffs!!!

Because they're still competitive. If they were playing like the Cleveland Browns, he probably would have been gone by now

no, please keep him and Thompson also, it is great to have two easy wins a year. maybe if the fired him and brought in Matt Millen it would be OK.
great QB, pretty good receivers and a jr high O-line will get you in the playoffs. and a def line that would get smoked in college. this is a great team plan. keep up the good work, and the lions will not be in last place anymore.
