Systole is the amount of pressure on the vessel walls while the heart is contracting. Diastole is the amount of pressure on the walls while the heart is not contracting.

Systole: noun. The phase of the heartbeat when the heart muscle contracts and pumps blood into the arteries.
Systolic: adjective.
Blood pressure: (Systolic) 120/80 (diastolic: The phase of the heartbeat when the heart muscle relaxes and allows the chambers to fill with blood.)

I hate to be rude but there are online dictionaries that are a lot more reliable/accurate than the answers you will get on here (I'm not saying anyone is wrong). It would've been faster to find your answer this way, too. Just a suggestion
