Activision is pushing it?

It's funny, but it's also nothing new. All corporations and industries follow trends because they are the safe way to go. Like they say, why change what's already perfect right? Video game companies are no different, they are going to ride off the success of their previous games, look at halo for example. The first one was simply amazing, and was highly successful. As they kept on making sequels, most agree that the quality of the game was becoming less and less, until they came out with fail titles such as Halo Wars and ODST (In my opinion, i was a die hard halo fan) You'll also see it in television and movies, have you noticed the number of vampire related movies/shows out recently? I think Rock Band is an awesome game, it was the first of it's kind (Or was it Guitar hero?) It was certainly a change of genres when Rockband came out with its drums and guitar controllers. I like what they're doing now with making rock band games dedicated to single bands like The Beatles.
