I have a 1998 Buick LeSabre Custom and I recently had new front brake pads put in and the mechanic adjusted the rear brake pads. Now, when my car sits in the driveway overnight or when it sits in the parking lot (in the hot sun) for a few hours at work, it makes a scraping/grinding sound when I make 4 or 5 complete stops and then it goes away. The noise is coming from the back of the car where the tires are.

It has been making this sound on a daily basis because I drive my car on a daily basis, of course. But, today, my mother drove my car and she said she heard some squeaking when she backed out of the driveway but after that it didn't make any noise. She also said it didn't make any noise when she went on her lunch break after the car had been sitting in the hot parking lot so now she's saying that whatever the sound is, it's not that serious.

What could the noise be? Is it serious? Should we get it checked out?

There was a snake in my front yard (I live in College Park, Georgia) and it was no longer than 1ft and a half long. It's full body color was black and had little yellow latitudinal (horizontal) stripes going down it's body like a striped shirt or something. I'm not scared of snakes but it went into a hole in my house and I'm a little frightened because I don't know what snake it is and if it's poisonous or not.

I'm 18 years old and I want to major in Paralegal Studies. I applied like 2 weeks before the deadline, took the Placement test, and I still haven't gotten an acceptance letter. I want to know if I'm too young for that major or if it's another reason why I haven't been accepted yet. I'm really trying to be optimistic but now it's starting to upset me because I had my heart set on starting college this quarter. :( Oh, it's a technical college also.

We've been dating for a good while and it's been getting worse. I love him and everything but he trippin'. WE always listen to HIS favorite songs. WE always watch HIS favorite movies and TV shows. WE always go the places HE wants to go and so on. If I say I don't want to do something, he forces me to anyway. And the days when he plays tennis are just upsetting. He plays tennis all day, comes to see me, he starts feeling on me and stuff (for his own excitement), then when I tell him I want to have sex he claims he's too tired. He always talks and thinks about himself. When I say something all he does is say, "Uh huh" like he doesn't care! Or..am I overreacting? :\

I mean is there a certain city or state or country you would live in?

Okay so my mother has started to buy pickles. I love pickles! They are not whole pickles, they are the quarter slices where 4 of them equal a whole. I've been eating about 2-3 daily for the last week. Since I've been doing that, these bumps have popped up on my upper lip. :[ I don't kiss anyone, I wash my hands every time I eat, and I don't do any sexual activities. But then again, I've switched from using Carmex to using Chapstick Moisturizer. Oh and I've been eating regular Lays Potato Chips also with those sandwiches. I don't know what the problem is. :[ Help!

Both of my parents are black. But my grandfather has white relatives. Can I say that I'm mixed or am I just fully black because of my parents? I don't want to say that I'm mixed just because it sounds good, it's just something that always confused me.
