My wonderful wonderful kids have done something to my keyboard and computer...?
When i press space or either esc the computer the computer goes haywire and says its launching internet ,media player,at the same time then the screen goes blank,,i have tried to reset the keyboard via control panel but that dont seem to work.....windows vista by the way ......please help

It sounds like your kids have added key shortcuts for programs.
Find the Media Player shortcut icon.
Right click on it and select Properties.
Click on the Shortcut tab.
If there is something in the "Shortcut key" box then click in the box and press the backspace key to delete the shortcu
Click OK.
Do the same for the Browser shortcut icon.
If the shortcut keys are not defined under those icons, then I'm afraid you are just going to have to go hunting until you find the icon properties they changed. Or of course you could ask them...

As u must be knowing vista is a damp rubbish kinda os, it had happened to me also that it often crashes and did stupid things. I suggest upgrade to windows 7 or go for the classic windows xp.

i'd say you have a couple or one sticking key.... you might have to pay $30 for another keyboard
