It seems like you guys talk a lot but when he only responds back with hehehehehehehehehe lolollolololololololololololololol and things like that it pretty much means that he doesn't know what else to say. To be a sophomore he seems to be a little shy and there is really nothing that you can do about that. It is really good to talk to people in person because you get a better effect on what they are saying to you and in person they actually have to speak rather then just laugh like in a text message. Seeing that you have been talking to this guy for a year now and he still hasn't broken up with his girlfriend who knows how long it will be for you to get a chance with him.

Call her due to the fact you stated you might. If you do not desire a dating then be immediately together with her and inform her that. If she's no longer cool with retaining matters informal than I'm certain you'll no longer have a trouble discovering any one who's very well with it. But, do not be that man who leads the lady on. I think you should still remain friends with him, but I don't think you should ask him out if he has a girlfriend. Just wait and see if their relationship works out or not. If they do break up, let him come to you. I think you should talk to him in person more often though. It sounds to me that the only relationship you two have is over the phone, and it doesn't sound to serious.

No one likes a home wrecker, and you will build yourself a bad reputation by messing with a guy who is not available. Best stay friends with him until he and his girlfriend call it quits.

Personally though, he doesn't seem intrested. I mean, if he was he would have made it clear. If a guy likes you he will let you know. The fact that he doesn't really say much in his text messages may show that he feels no chemistry or spark with you. Just stay friends with him and see.

don't take it any further. sounds like he's after one thing and one thing only since you said he'll go out with anybody but if all he's texting back is silly stuff like heehehehehe, then it sounds to me like he's just being nice and making sure you don't get any incriminating evidence to show his current g/f. maybe he really cares for this girl. at least let it be until he's single if nothing else. and if you stop texting him and he starts texting you back, then he may be interested and you can let him know that you don't go out with guys that have girlfriends.

to me he doesnt seem interested because of his response to you trying to start a conversation. And if he goes out with anyone then that just seems like he is desperate for a date or uses whatever girl he is with for something then dumps her. I dont know if this is the guy that you would really want to date.
