Can pear trees get curly leaf?

My pear tree seems to have some sort of blight on the leaves that I can't find on any of the pear disease sites. It has pale slightly bubbly spots. I have a nectarine tree nearby that has a bad attack of leaf-curl (despite being treated) and I wondered if it could have caused the pear tree's problems, although it doesn't look the same as curly leaf.

It sounds like your trees could use some good feeding and mulch. Healthy plants/trees usually don't have problems.

It's probably Pear Leaf Blister Mites, which are controlled by dormant oil spray or lime-sulfur.
