Washing your makeup brushes?
Iv heard that you can use baby shampoo which is great cause I have one and dont have the money to go out and buy brush shampoo but what about the kind of shampoo that has the calming things in it? Like the lavender shampoo that helps clam the baby down? Is that safe to us or should I just use regular baby shampoo?
I dont know if they are real bristles or not..I bought them from Bare Minerals.

i use baby soap and its fine whatever i have on hand, oatmeal calming and all do fine i have the bare Essential brushes

If the bristles are sythetic than any mild soap or shampoo will do..just a bit..
brush cleaner is 10 x more effective..i use it on mine...but baby shampoo works well too
If its real bristles then you should only use brush cleaner
