Is the American dream now officially dead?

The dream is over I fear. What is presented today, is a fight to retain what freedoms we have left, what rights and style of life we have known.

Obama has and will continue to "destroy" this country and we have no option but to oppose him whenever possible, but ONLY to limit the destruction. I don't consider him "brilliant" as his cultists do, but he has an "agenda" ( not his but someone elses ) and he won't RISK an opening to take him out, y some "stupid" mistake......besides.....he has Congress and the news media watching his back....how can he fail.

Im sorry to sound defeatist Spike but even if we conservatives manage to gain some power back in the senate and the house and even get Obama out in 2012 the Paul's ie the left and the socialists have made it clear they are a huge % of this country at least power wise and we are going to have to face it. More socialism is coming all we can do now is try to keep them in check.

EDIT: what i mean to say is we are not a center left country but its a 50/ 50 split and that means there going to be a back and forth for a very long time

The American dream was dead when Lincoln used the US military to gain more power for the federal government. Then there was the 16th amendment that let the federal government criminals directly tax your pay, AGAINST the Constitution (and it was not ratified by all of the states so it is illegal), and then they abdicated their responsibility to coin and mint our money interest FREE... all in an effort to subvert the limitations put on the federal government in the Constitution.

So, was there EVER an American Dream that was attainable?

Can ANY ONE become president?

Does Satan have a forked tongue?

We will only have freedom when we finally learn that democrats and republicans are just the evil tools that evil people use to tyrannize good people and enslave them.

So everything that is wrong with this country is ALL his fault?? Look what he had to work with. Our country was in a terrible state before he got into office. I don't normally consider myself a part of any political party because there are flaws in all. However, I have noticed how many Republicans seem to just complain and point fingers and accuse a man who hasn't even been in office for a year of destroying our country. Apparently you were asleep for the past 8 years.

I know a lot of people will disagree with me and give me negative feedback. But I had to say it. Sorry. I guess the First Amendment only applies when everyone else agrees with you. :)

The American Dream is on hold til after 2012!

My American dream was to serve my country in the military. McCain would have proudly allowed it. obama sees how important it is to him to not allow it. My American dream is officially dead.
