The red area includes both the area in the middle and the bottom circle

If you divide the middle area into four equal shapes, these shapes can be placed around the outside of the circle to form a square

From here, it's a simple calculation to determine the area

I only have the american answer which is 400 square feet. Sorry that may not work in metres.

I can only find walkthroughs that give you the American answer like the other post does, not the Pandoras box answer.
