How do I get a data transfer kit for Xbox 360?
I just got an elite and I want to transfer my saved games and stuff from my 20GB HDD to my new one. Do I have to go through Microsoft to get the data transfer kit or do I have to buy it some where?

I just talked to Microsoft about this and they said the transfer kits are out of stock, they don't know when they will get them back, and you can't put your name on a list, so you just have to keep calling back. Not very smart for them to come out with a new Xbox (Call of Duty) and be out of the cables the same day it's released. We can see how much they care about customer service after charging an arm and a leg for a system.

The cable will paintings, although the disc that have been given here with it ought to desire to no longer. the unique kit have been given here out for migrating the 20 GB to the a hundred twenty GB rigidity and it worked mind-blowing, yet jointly as they presented out the 60 GB rigidity it did no longer paintings till Microsoft placed out a sparkling disc -- the old disk did no longer understand on the priority of the present rigidity length. it particularly is accessible that the discs that are out now basically understand on the priority of the 20, 60 and a hundred twenty GB drives and ought to desire to wish an replace to ideal regularly occurring the 250 GB drives.
