Why didn't Obama, the Commander in Chief, salute the fallen, murdered soldiers at today's memorial at Ft Hood.?

Maybe somebody pointed out to him that although as Commander in Chief he is expected to return the salute given to him from a servicemember - he does not have the right to present a salute because he never served in the military.

How so? i'm no fan of Obama's and the army deaths in Afghanistan are his fault for being incapable of coming up a determination as to the two pull each physique out or deliver the troops that the final he put in place asked. i found his speech approximately immediately's tragedy outrageous. yet, i don't see the style you're making it his fault via fact he's the commander and chief and it occurred on a military base. i could prefer to hearken to your reasoning.

I didn't watch the presentation, but I was told it was done in a proper and solemn manner. That being the case whether or not he saluted is immaterial. While he can get away with saluting as he is commander in chief, he is not required to salute as he is a civilian.

Don't bring petty political bickering into this. It says more about politics than it does about us.

Because he is still trying to keep quiet the fact that his muslim friend did the killings. He also calls the military selfish and terrorists. HE can't give them support when asked and he abandons them in time of war....
