Can anyone critique my photos?

I know they aren't anything fantastic, but I'd like some tips because I'm pretty new at this.

Thanks

I think that they are great. You have a natural eye for photography. The only ones that might have been better were candid (family?) shots, and that shot of the guy on the grass, he was out of focus, but that is a focal length/lens thing rather than you eye for layout. The candid family shots would look unnatural if you changed the surroundings (e.g. people holding the baby). Of course at least one of those also was artistically done. Enjoy your explorations of the world with your camera.

If you're trying to capture emotion in those portraits, it's not working, mainly because the picture is horizontal not vertical, you have a messy bedroom in the background, all of this, is just not convincing.

    Hey,

Some are really great! Was intrigued by the first gate shot.

Thanks for posting the following one :)

Easy to tell you love symmetry! Bet you're dying to take shots of railroad tracks!

    I like your art!
