    Depends on your view of what is "success"

    If it is to fail, and you succeeded, then it must be that you have achieved success. The question only causes a problem because you haven't stated exactly 'at' what you are trying to fail.

    If you tried to fail at 'playing a mind game', then yes, you have succeeded!

    Both! you've been successful at being a failure. . I've seemed to have spent my entire life time trying to do the opposite! (sighs)
