Can I get tetanus from being poked by a screw?

I was at my friend's house and his Chair was APPARENTLY coming apart and has happened before, and when I pushed myself up in it, I got stabbed by a Screw inside of it. I got teeny little dot of blood from being poked by it. I kept Pushing the chair open again to examine the screw and it appeared to be clean. What disturbs me is there are also two Rusty as hell looking staples in the chair near the screw area. Now I'm like deathly afraid of having tetanus and I am unaware of my shot updates.

Update:

I'm PRETTY sure it was the screw, and the screw looked super clean. But Because I wasn't looking when I got poked i'm praying that it was indeed the screw that poked me. and i'm pretty pretty pretty sure it was the screw, i hope it was the screw.

You will only get tetanus if the screw was rusty because that's what poked you and left a mark. If the screw is clean then you should be fine.

Well there is a good chance you might have tetnus. My ag teacher didn't get his tet shot, and he got scraped by newly installed barbed wire (wasn't rusty yet) and he ended up in the hospital because he thought it would be fine. You should see a doctor about it. See if you have been updated for that shot.
