From Your name Mahajan, I have met many Mahajans in my life. Some were fanatics, others were drug edicts but there was one common character among them i.e. bravery.

Most on this forum will label me a Sikh fanatic or paki or a Khalistani. I do not care what they say about me, Satguru has blessed me with this seva.

First thing is not Hindu or Sikh, start thinking the lives of humans were lost. Each case whether in Punjab or anywhere should be dealt individually. Justice Dyal who was investigating this genocide said to the human rights organizations, "Do not you see, Hindus killed by Sikh terrorists in Punjab". If Judges will start thinking like this, how someone could expect Justice. From the childhood I was listening a story of The Fox and the Lamb. Fox wanted to kill the lamb. He said, " Last year, you swore at me". Poor lamb replied," Sir I was not born last year, I am only six months old". "If it was not you, then it was your father", Fox replied and then he killed poor lamb. That is happening here. Poor Sikhs are suffering not because they demanded separation from country, several other communities also did, not because they killed Indira, RSS killed MCKC Gandhi and Tamils kill Rajiv but because they have only two percent votes in India.

Look at this, General Sunderjee stated this, we received orders for preparation of attack on Darbar Sahib on 15 Jan 1984. Then why they waited six months for Sikhs to congregate in Gurduaras to celebrate martyrdom day of Guru Arjun when almost every Sikh takes part in distributing free cold drinks. As per so called white paper by Indian government 42 Gurdwaras were attacked (Sikhs say at least 72). Why there is no judicial investigation till to date. Why India's entry point airport is named on her name. It is not because she was a great leader but she killed Sikhs, not knowing she also killed hundreds of Hindus in one month after dismissing popular government in AP and at last the NT Rama Rao government was brought back in power. If you see result of 1984 Lok Sabha elections, AP celebrated her death by bringing NT RamaRao's party as biggest opposition.

This is the story mentioned in Bullet for Bullet by JF Roberieo former DGP in Punjab, " CRPF person committed rapes on villagers, they were suspended immediately. I recommended a strong action to home ministry but they were let free citing reason, it will affect morality of forces". Justice like his did not happen even in British India. Stories can be traced to mogul India when moguls did this with Hindus and Sikhs.

I have no hope in getting justice, either from BJP or Congress. However I have a little hope from BSP if it comes in Power. That is also not because it is a good party but these criminals are not vote bank of them.

I think as far as putting the big shots behind the bar is concerned, it is very unlikely. I wish a mass apolitical movement is launched by Hindus and Sikhs in the manner of jessica Lal or Priyadarshini Mattoo case, then only justice will come. Even those who hv seen these big shots with their own eyes managing mobs are unwilling to come forward. What do u say?

EDIT: I said Hindus and Sikhs because these were the 2 communities involved. Even today on this forum some users are trying to put the blame on Hindus for Sikh massacre.

JUSTICE denied anywhere is.... INJUSTICE EVERYWHERE.

NO Government is stupid to accept, what it did was wrong.

    UNDERSTAND THAT FIRST, SHEEPLE !!!

DONT expect justice AGAINST a government, my fellow sikhs or Hindus or muslims (or anybody).

We people are DIVIDED in religion & caste. Apart from this we are divided by different parties in different states, cos we think that the political party we support, is better than the other and hate it. Automatically in doing so, we hate the people who support our rival party. Well thats wat they want, KEEP US DIVIDED.

The truth is they dont care about us.

    Sikhs will not get JUSTICE.

    Hindus will not get JUSTICE.

    Muslims will not get JUSTICE.

    Christians will not get JUSTICE.

ONLY THOSE PEOPLE WITHOUT DIVISION WILL GET JUSTICE.

LAW is THERE only to CONTROL MASSES (us).

LAW IS NOT THERE FOR PEOPLE or GOVERNMENT IN POWER.

    WHY?

COS THEY MANIPULATE THE LAW. COS THEY RULE.

The idea of DEMOCRACY is a joke. The Government will always say DEMOCRACY IS GOOD.

Governments WONT educate us that, Democracy is a JOKE.

We have to research it and understand it.

Hope people get the idea how the country as well as the world works.

They are just a handfull of people ruling us.

    WE are MANY if UNITED.

@ Steelboy: Thanx , for letting us know those details. It makes me understand what happened.

  • Surprising, Punjab voted for Congress twice after 84 riots.

I hate when someone tries dividing India on the very basis of religion, caste, region, religion etc. Why Hindu and Sikh should protest in mass? Why not Indians should protest in mass? Why should any problem be considered be a problem of a community but not a problem of the nation? Unless we learn that, political parties and extremist organizations will keep taking advantage of us.

Only the assassinations of Indira and Rajiv Gandhi made headlines.

Neither the thousands of innocent people murdered in cold blood in New Delhi led by

certain rogues(leaders) of Congress party nor the rapes, kidnappings, torture and brutal slaying of thousands of innocent Eezham Tamils in Srilanka by the armed forces of Indian Government merited any attention by the Media or the Central Government.

" Democracy " of the Indian species exists to protect only the rich and powerful and

oppressively rule the weak and exploited mass !

I agree with the answers of Steelboy and Soulitud.

Yes it is not good to divide the society based on the cast or religion but the whole problem started with this only...........Sikhs were ill treated by congressi murderers so we Must talk in this language and demand for a justice for Sikhs.

Thanks for reminding us . India remembers Indira Gandhi on this day but the families of the riot victims must have been remembering this period for something else. I pray they get justice soon. I also congratulate the Sikh community as they have moved forward & mostly come out of the shadows of Khalistan, Blue Star & the related developments & assimilated back to the mainstream which some communities find hard to do.

The justice system was graciously bequeathed by the British. As usual with any abstract/moral principle, the Indians are unable to adapt it to their multi-ethnic, caste-ridden society. They just plod on with the Brit legacy.

Prashant Bhushan, Supreme Court lawyer and activist for judicial reform, said: “India's inherited judiciary was not designed for the poor and illiterate. The poor can’t afford lawyers and you can’t access the system without lawyers.”
