What is the worst or most disgusting thing you have heard of as the primary flavor of ice cream?

In malaysia...durian fruit ice cream. The fruit smells like human waste. They have laws in Singapore against eating it in the open markets because it smells so bad.

Maple flavored Ice Cream sucks.

Oh I have heard of that! Nitro-Scrambled Egg And Bacon Ice Cream is a special in The Fat Duck in England... but so is snail porridge :x

I think I could take any kind of ice cream, as long as it wasn't meat, and then maybe sausage.

I've heard of some really horrible ice cream flavors. I tend to be really from the old school and like my ice cream rather plain...Wish I could still find Old Fashioned Hand Packed Breyers....strawberry, chocolate, peach, Black Walnut. Yum!

There was an 'ole' guy in DC who for years kept his store open offering the above. When he died, his family closed down the store.

I no longer go to ice cream stores...I now buy from an organic market near my house who carries a local provider of the greatest ice cream. No frills, just the good tasting basics!

Thinking of buying myself an OLD fashioned hand ice cream maker and making my own from fresh products like my grandad for me when I was a tadpole.

Fish flavored ice cream

I've seen a few unusual flavors on the Iron Chef show. Once a chef made a fish ice cream. Another used wasabi for flavor. I've heard that in other countries vegetables are used for flavor-- tomatoes, eggplant, corn are a few of them.

I just read about this flavor:

Whale Ice Cream. "Whale has long been a delicacy among the Japanese. Certainly not a politically correct choice, but one that will definitely get people blubbering. Despite the rich, creamy texture, the ingredients are probably from a minke and not a sperm. Perhaps we should all be glad for that...."

Now Glady's by the name of this flavor, what do you want to bet, it isn't fat free/low calorie. ;)

I've watched the British chef Heston Blumenthal on tv and he has a strange idea of what good food is lol but the following website has made me very grateful to be British.....some if not all the flavours mentioned, and they show the tub they are bought in are enough to put someone off icecream for life! I think the very worst one shown on this website must be the "Raw Horseflesh" icecream. Apparently it contains chunks of horseflesh!!! Ewwww, my tummy is doing somersaults at the very thought! lol

The worst ice cream I ever tried was sardine.And yes it's every bit as disgusting as it sounds.

Rocky Road. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Cookies & Creme Heavenly Hash (flavor done by Publix) Mint Chocolate Chip No syrup though! Too sweet for me!
