the best deal on a store bought gaming pc?
Can somebody suggest a good deal on a new gaming pc... or should I build again. I haven't built in a while and would need to buy everything including an operating system. I haven't really looked into this in years and it looks like there's a new gen of processors coming... or are they here already?
So I want a new gen processor, clock speed isn't too important if we can save a buck there. I probably won't over clock. I'd like to try linking a video card just because I never have unless I'd be better off to buy one good single vs two ok linked. Just something powerful enough to run high settings on most things without lag, I might run two or even three monitors but that's not too hard, probably going to start doing some home video stuff and I'd like a video input (again pretty easy) and standard storage these days seems like it would meet my needs. I don't care about bluray or bluetooth. I just need the speed and a good deal on it. What would you do? Buy or build, what to look for, what to expect to pay.
Long and detailed answers are better, links help too. Thanx
See, see, that's it. The i7 processor. Is that a power saver processor or is that an improvement on the quad... my God. Are they already beyond the Quad 4?

ok if you are in the uk then i would recommend dinopc.com, they basically build a custom pc to your needs and you can add noise dampeners, different cases, choose the graphics card and more or less everything else, they also do a good deal where if you buy an OS from them included with your computer they will pre install it and install all the necessary drivers, i am confident this is for uk ONLY though.
if you are in the states try pcusa.com, its more or less the same thing as dinopc.com
this is the best way to buy a pc for someone with knowledge of the different parts as you dont have to build and on dinopc.com you can get a quad core 4gb ram 9500gt1gb pc for 350 sterling

These are some of the stats that it provides along with the model name and whatnot. Havent had any problems with it, I play world of warcraft, sims 2 and sims 3 on it and other pc games but its excellent.

I like used game stores, generally good selection and always changing. Plus they're cheaper and sometimes you can find one owned by a guy and not some big company so you get better customer service and keep your cash in your city.
